The Season of Christmas is a season of love to remember the day our Lord Jesus Christ came to redeem mankind from sin and the devil. It's an holiday celebrated in almost every part of the world. People have their individual reasons for celebrating Christmas; some say it's the birth of Santa. But what is unique about that day is that, it's a day of joy and it's celebrated on the 25th of December.
Because of how important the day is, shopping mall set out a day in November and place huge discount on their product for Christmas shopping called Black Friday. We were privilege in my part of the world. Our black Friday lasted for a Month with 80% discount off. I guess many took advantage of the discount for Christmas Shopping. If you didn't, you missed out. That is perhaps the first gift I had gotten before boxing day hamper.
Your shopping determines what you would serve for Christmas. I could guess 90% would go for the traditional turkey/chicken with rice. I would not be a happy Barney if it's prepared the sames monotonous way it's being prepared before Christmas. There is a unique way of preparing the same turkey or chicken served with rice that would make your family feel the uniqueness of Christmas. They could start the day by all going out door. Dad Barbecue's the turkey or Chicken while the kids play outside with some juice box watching dad prepare the turkey and mum in the kitchen trying out wine sauce to serve with the turkey (Children could use ketchup tomato paste) and Chinese fried rice. In as much as the family knows going out is the cherry of the day, you should start the fun from the table by allowing them dine like kings.
