Cinnamon Roll-Ups Recipe

Cinnamon Roll-Ups are an easy and delicious treat, perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert. These bite-sized versions of classic cinnamon rolls can be made with just a few ingredients, and they take only minutes to prepare. With crispy outsides and a gooey cinnamon-sugar filling, they’re sure to be a hit.

Ingredients:

- 8 slices of white or whole wheat bread, crusts removed

- 4 tablespoons butter, melted

- 1/3 cup granulated sugar

- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

- Optional: Cream cheese, Nutella, or fruit preserves for filling

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) or heat a skillet if you’re making them on the stove.

2. Flatten the Bread: Using a rolling pin, gently flatten each slice of bread. Removing the crust helps the bread roll easily and hold its shape.

3. Brush with Butter: Brush one side of each bread slice with melted butter. This helps give the roll-ups a crispy, golden exterior.

4. Mix Cinnamon and Sugar: In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon together until well combined.

5. Sprinkle the Cinnamon-Sugar Mixture: Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the buttered side of each bread slice. If you’d like, you can add a thin layer of cream cheese, Nutella, or fruit preserves before rolling for extra flavor.

6. Roll the Bread: Starting at one end, tightly roll each slice of bread into a log, securing the cinnamon-sugar inside.

7. Brush the Outside with Butter: Brush the outside of each roll-up with more melted butter and roll them in the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture for extra flavor.

8. Bake or Cook on Stove:

   - Baking: Place the roll-ups on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

   - Stovetop: Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the roll-ups for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until crispy and golden.

9. Serve: Serve the cinnamon roll-ups warm, as is, or with a drizzle of icing or maple syrup for added sweetness.

 Tips:

- Filling Ideas: Try adding fruit, like thin apple slices, for a twist on the traditional cinnamon roll flavor.

- Dip them: Serve with a cream cheese frosting dip or vanilla yogurt for an extra indulgent treat.

These quick and easy cinnamon roll-ups are a fun twist on a classic cinnamon roll, perfect for when you’re short on time but craving something sweet and comforting!
